Michael Cook's 50K Birthday Run
Michael Cook, a long time supporter of Candlelighters will be celebrating his 50th birthday by running 50 kilometers on July 28, 2008.
He plans on finishing his run at the Candlelighters office around 9:00-10:00 am on Monday. Michael will be collecting donations along his run to help children who have cancer. If you are interested in sponsoring Michael please contact Candlelighters at (909) 558-3419.
Michael was instrumental in the set up and the Candlelighters Hair-cut-a-thon, when he offered to shave his head in support of children who have cancer. Mike wants to get as many people involved as possible by sponsoring him on this run!

Michael is a firefighter at the Fort Irwin Base.
