A Very Fast and Easy Way to Raise Money for Amma's LA Tour
Amma's LA Satsang is seeking Gift Card Donations ($25-$500) from local Supermarkets. This is a great and easy way to raise money for the food that we need to buy for the 2008 Amma LA Program.



Our Goal:
This year if only 30 people collect three $25 Gift Cards each we will raise $2,250. Please do not feel limited to collecting only 3 cards! Our goal is to reach $5,000 in total.



What you will need:
A charitable donation form called a 501c3 and a brief letter, which you may present to the manager of the store, are typically required when requesting these Gift Cards. If the manager is unavailable please leave the paperwork with your name and phone number and follow up with a phone call in a few days. Often times the manager will give you a card on the spot! You can easily contact several stores in one hour....Albertsons, Alpha Beta, Pavilions, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc. Please feel free to visit Kinkos and Staples, too! Gift Cards from these stores will also help to cover miscellaneous office items for the tour. These stores have the budget for these donations and they need to donate every month...let's help them out! We will also be able to note their Information (name, e-mail & phone) when they request the forms

Why your immediate time and effort will be so tremendously appreciated:
Time is of the essence. We are trying to collect 5k to purchase our food for the tour. If we start now, that gives us approximately 6 weeks to raise funds.



This can greatly offset tour expenses leaving more money for Amma's charities


What happens after I collect a Donation Gift Card:

.. with the following information: gift card amount, store name/address along with your name and phone number. This will enable us to keep track and post how much we have raised and which stores have been visited.
