Attention Vietnam Veterans
(A) If you served in Vietnam and were stationed at Camp Radcliff, An Khe, April 6th, 1970, the night 17 helicopters were damaged or destroyed, contact: 801-216-6343@rodmitchell.info - talk live: 310-746-3065 (B) A freelance investigation is under way to find out how the VC. (Vietcong, 2 sappers) got inside Camp Radcliff, accomplished their mission and then got out again so easily without being captured or killed in action. They committed the perfect crime, and obviously, a feat that only someone with super human abilities would have even attempted. (C) If you were at Camp Radcliff, on the night of the attack, and especially, if you received an early out of Vietnam, under AR-212 around that time, your account of the attack is pertinent to this investigation. Your testimony could very well be the missing link that exposes a major conspiracy committed by the United States Army to deceive the world (or a cover-up to conceal their incompetence during the Vietnam conflict). (D) It's only speculation at this time but there are 2 distinct scenarios that fit what happened that night in An Khe: (D1) The chain of command was caught off guard by the attack and responded so incompetently that it was necessary to blame scapegoats and smoke-screen (conceal) their blunder and lack of military professionalism. (D2) The entire attack was nothing more than an unannounced military-training exercise conspired to generate media-hype. Important To All Veterans: (E) 400,000 veterans who received "less than honorable" discharges between 1964 and 1973, may be eligible to have them upgraded to Honorable. Even on an Honorable discharge, a "Spin Code" (SPN - Separation Program Number) can hurt a veteran's chance of being hired by a prospective employer. These spin codes were put on DD 214 (discharge papers) from the 1940's through the early 1970's. Veterans can request a new DD 214 with the spin codes removed (e.g. AR-635-212 SPN 264). Courtesy: Edwin Crosby -http://veterancourtcodes.com (E1) A complete listing of SPN numbers and their full meanings can be found at the following website - www.crazyhouseradio.com/spincodes.html Full Story at: www.crazyhouseradio.com Now Officially Notarized This message has been edited. Thank you Ziggy for your support, it did take me 38 years to get the nerve up to be able to write my autobiography about Vietnam. I had two small daughters in the early days and I couldn't risk having them kidnapped or hurt in anyway by government agents but now they're grown and they want me to tell my story.
http://www.crazyhouseradio.com for the full story. Peace bro', 801-216-6343@rodmitchell.info This message has been edited. Last edited by: funingames, |

I was there at Camp Radcliff when the choppers got hit. HHB.4th/60th Artillary, IN FACT 4/6/70 WAS MY BIRTHDAY! SOME KINDA BASH!I'm also trying to find someone who can vouch for me rolling a jeep on Greenline causing a break in my hand and injuring my neck and lower back, causing problems now.I use to have pictures of the choppers until my x got rid of mostof my pictures that were unpleasant to her.Good to hear from someone who was there and can relate.

maddog, I know what you mean. My first wife threw away all of my Vietnam memorabilia, hootch maid pictures and everything. Can you tell me anything about the attack the night of your birthday.
Who was guarding the helicopter landing zone and where did the VC. get in the wire at? Thank you, Rod. |

I'm sorry Rod but I don't remember mutch about the begining of my tour. All I can say is I rember the wire being cut and the claymores being turned toward the tower as the gooks left. Also they blamed the hootch mama's of giving info about critical positions.A few days later our motor pool was sabatoged but a soldier from our batallion did it and I never heard any more about that and I was the one who almost got blowen up as I was on guard duty that night and saw a duce and half door partialy open and opend it and a gernade handle flew past my head and I took cover and the truck blew up.When they checked the other vehicles they found some more vehicles wired also. The first seargents hootch was also wired with a gernade. That sodier wanted to go home but went to Levenworth instead.

I preceded you guys to An Khe. I was a CIVILIAN schoolteacher in An Tuc, just across the river from An Khe from 1967 to 69. You may be interested in a book that I just published about An Khe, An Tuc, the 173d, and about a top Viet Cong official that complicated my life. Here are links to the book:
