Most people think that drinking @ 18 isn't a good thing. I am a former vet and the one thing that always bothered me I could die for my country but, I could not have a simple beer.

Confused I could not agree with you more!I was stationed in Fort Dix NJ and Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland. We would go to the Em
Club when we got leave or where off duty! A Cold Beer after a Long march tasted good and for the most part Every Soilder behave like soilder! Any confrontations where easily stoped
by there fellow men. I can say Fights almost happened! But very seldom! The only real problem would be Young people who Dont know how Dangerous Drinking and Driving is! I lost some friend in High school to drunk Drivers! In a controled envirment Like with a elder or Parental Supervisior and a designated driver.I think a .08 Law should apply to 18 Yer olds. I could remember when I came back to california I had to wait until I was 21/19 in Arizona! On Base we could drink but not in Public! I allways thought that if you where Old enough to Die for America you should be able to have a Beer! Some state you had to be 21 to buy Hard liquor! Now that I agree with with all my soul!
Hard Boose is not for any 18 year old! Thank you! Xmotor sargent in the Cal.Nat.Gaurd Be Safe!
