Something that is often forgotten is that the earthquake kits have products that have expiration dates. Batteries, water, can goods, etc., should be checked yearly for expiration dates that may have, or will be, coming up. It would be horrible to think that people will not get vital information due to expired batteries!

I know, mccosco. Wouldn't you think that a news station would get their facts straight before reporting on such an important matter? They are really getting sloppy!

The usual wonderful Gayle made me cringe several times this morning. Claiming over and over that the Northridge Quake was a 4 point something! Please! How easy is that fact checkable. Try 6.7!
