Markina Brown is an excellent meteorologist... but it leaves me one worry - what about Lu Parker? There's been no word about her being on vacation, or out sick. Nor have I seen her turn up anywhere else on KTLA.

No news on the website, either - hers OR the station's. So... inquiring minds want to know - where's Lu Parker?

She's on vaca for a couple weeks...then she comes back to report during the week and anchor weekends w/ Lynette.

I came to this board also looking for "where is Lu Parker?" Will she no longer be doing the weather when she returns from vacation? It was bad enough losing Lizette & Hal...we don't want to lose Lu too!

I also enjoy Lu Parker with the weather. She just adds so much to the team, but I wish her the best of luck and this is what she wants for herself. I am going to miss her count downs to

I love Lu Parker! I thought she was great in the morning! Then she has been bounced around by KTLA. I think they finally bounced her out of KTLA. I thought she was funny! Loved her! Markina seems nice but not witty. Maybe it's because its her first week. But I like Lu better!

I'm so glad she's not leaving, and better yet, that she'll be anchoring again. Her talents exceed weather reports. I felt she was under utilized there. I'm so glad she'll be back anchoring (and reporting)

I to miss Lu Parker. Bring her back she has been away long enough...10 PM news just isn't the same.

I love Lu and really miss her. 10 o'clock news is not nearly as good without her. I try not to miss her on week-ends. Please bring her back as the greatest weather gal!!
