Okay Melinda do you mean the Caylee Anthony case? Well we sure would like to when it goes to trial and I do believe Casey has a hearing today. will look for coverage on that.

Caylee's mom leaves jail, pleads not guilty

ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- The mother of a missing central Florida toddler was released from jail on $500,000 bail Thursday and returned to her parents' home, where authorities will monitor her with an electronic ankle device.
Attorney Jose Baez shields Casey Anthony with an umbrella as she leaves a Florida jail.

Casey Anthony, 22, said nothing as she left the Orange County jail Thursday.

She faces charges of child neglect, making false statements and obstructing an investigation in the disappearance of 3-year-old Caylee, who has been missing since June.

Police say Casey Anthony lied to them and didn't report Caylee missing for more than a month. Caylee's grandmother reported her disappearance in July.

Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, escorted her out of the jail under a black umbrella amid a throng of reporters. He got into a scuffle with a journalist, pushing him out of the way.

Baez said Anthony whispered into his ear on her way out, "I'm innocent. I'm going to walk out of this place with my head held high."

Anthony, who had been jailed since mid-July, arrived several minutes later at her parents' home, where she was fitted for an electronic monitoring device that plugs into her home phone.

"Right now the family is in there hugging and enjoying time as a family together," Baez said outside the home. "There's a lot of tears, a lot of emotion."

Anthony was also arraigned Thursday, but did not attend the hearing. A written plea of not guilty was entered, according to court documents.

A pretrial hearing was set for November 5 and a trial date for November 17.

Anthony did not comment outside her home. Her attorney said the first thing she asked to do was take a shower.

"The most important thing is that Casey is home and her parents are very grateful," family spokesman Larry Garrison said by phone Thursday. "Now we are asking the public to please help us find Caylee. Now more than ever, we are convinced that she was kidnapped."

A group from a California bail bonds company flew to Florida on Sunday to help Clearwater-based bondsman Albert Estes post the bond. They said they believe Anthony might be more likely to talk about her daughter's disappearance if released from jail. Watch why they put up the money

Anthony told investigators she left Caylee in an apartment with a nanny June 9. But investigators say the apartment had been empty for several months.

She told detectives she didn't immediately call authorities to report Caylee missing because she was conducting her own investigation, according to an affidavit.

But authorities say Anthony, a single mother, has shown no remorse or concern for Caylee under questioning. Cadaver-sniffing dogs detected a scent in her car, and hair, dirt and a strange stain were found in the trunk. Investigators are still awaiting FBI tests on that evidence.

A neighbor told detectives Anthony had asked to borrow a shovel some time in June. Her father said she had stolen two gas cans from the garage and refused to let him get something from the trunk of her car. A boyfriend said she never told him in June that Caylee was missing.

Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla was also at the home and said a member of his team is staying with the family and sleeping there while they work on the case. There is a $225,000 reward for Caylee's return.

"I believe she made a mistake, handed her daughter off and she is alive," said Padilla, who predicted his team would find Caylee within a week

thank you so much for the links to the casey anthony case I have been watching every day and of course nancy grace it's is the strangest thing I have seen before
I personally think casey sold that sweet little girl to someone for money....course they found the decomposition in trunk of her car and also choraform (not sure if that is spelled right)
guess we will have to keep watching

This trial has my intrest!,,,,,,,,,,Mom is out on $500,000 bail (seems very excessive),,,,they must have something fairly substancial on her to demand such a "High" bail! (She was bailed out with the help of some California bondsmen,,,,,,that have went on record to produce the body (dead or alive) within this next WEEK!,,,,,,,,,,,(I don't know if I believe that one though?) (Seems to me like someone is getting ready to sell a story!),,,,,,,

The Case will not be brought to trial till mid Nov.,,,,,,,,so alot can happen between now and then!,,,,,,,,,,,,(with "ankle Braclet" for jewlery,,,,,,,,,,Mom is walking on very thin ice!,,,,,,,,,,hopefully she won't do any thing stupid!

There was mention made that not only Chloroform air samples that were tested positive, (Our famous Dr. Baden throws in the theory that some Moms use it to sedate their little ones to fall asleep QUICKER???????) There was ALSO hair samples found in the car that may spell out a more precise picture of what REALLY happened! (Hair can store alot of evidence (Prior & After) the "EVENT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is wonderful to have an alternative to insession/tru tv - their commercials and early sign off (typically at the best part of the trial) is so frustrating.

This case has been brought into "National Interest"!,,as you know KTLA will be providing Live Feeds for the OJ Trial, "Gavel to Gavel" which will run all the way into the middle of Oct.! (Marta and Loni has also been given the nod to Host "Trial Talk", however the "Exact" details are still a work in progress!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,But you may indeed count on KTLA to start up @ 8AM PDT Week-days!

Afterwards, there is a good chance that KTLA "MAY" pick up this Trial? (I will send some correspondence to KTLA Management to see if by chance they would be interested!)

This case has me captivated! The most distressing aspect is that this sick family is leaving Caylee's remains out there like garbage, just to try to save Casey. It's going to the Grand Jury on Tuesday & I'll not be surprised if Casey Anthony is indicted for murder. *fingers crossed*

I cancelled my Flight plans and "VA-CA" to Apple Valley due to a prolonged "flu-bug" that I just couldn't shake off!

As far as the Anthony case goes,,,(I'm sure that the State has enough evidence) on her,,,,,,,,,(Just waiting for her to do something stupid, while released "temporarily")

My guess is that they do have enough to go to trial with,,,,,,but it will be a tough go without the the little girls body?????

I really hope it will go to trial,,,as to at least try to get some closure to find out what REALLY Happened?

I believe Mom is holding/hiding alot with this case,,,,,,and I feel that alot of Truth that we have not heard will come to surface,,,,if allowed to go to TRIAL!,,,,,,,,,(I HOPE!)

I think you're right, the state has plenty to proceed with. Law enforcement seems to be doing everything right too. But I wish she'd tell where she left Caylee so she can be buried properly, that really bothers me. But she'll probably never come clean about Caylee, just like Scott Peterson still lies that he didn't kill Laci.
